Unbeknownst to the neighbors, hidden beneath this home is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of minions, we discover Gru, planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon (Yes, the moon!). Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. Until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad. The world's greatest villain has just met his greatest challenge: three little girls named Margo, Edith and Agnes.

  • As of yesterday, Jeff Stone, Riverside County Supervisor has officially declared Saturday, August 7th "Lora Woodhead Steere Day" in Riverside County. We will receive an official proclamation from the County.
  • Watch: Just posted on YouTube, The Trailer for "When Art Met Idyllwild: A Tribute To Lora W. Steere" by Paris Deesing, a young Idyllwild Arts Academy film student has edited together a mini-bio-pic on Lora which will premiere in it's entirety at the Rustic Theatre on August 7th. The short film is made up of clips of footage, and stills sent from the Steere family, Idyllwild Arts, and the Historical Society.
  • Read more: Film Editor Works to Honor Idyllwild Arts Teacher published in today's Riverside Press Enterprise. Think Lora would be very proud of this talented 16 year-old.
  • Robert B. Smith, historian and author of "Idyllwild and the High San Jacintos," has written a well-researched short bio of Lora for use at the Retrospective as a hand-out. (For those of you who would like a sneak preview or if you are Wikipedia veteran willing to volunteer to help post the bio on Wikipedia, shoot me an email.)
  • KPSP the Local 2 / CBS station will be interviewing Bob Smith and Evan Mils at the Krone Museum as an advance story on Lora's Retrospective. Robin should be arriving at the Museum with the statue at the time. And I personally received a call from Huell Howser host/producer of California's Gold who cannot make it up to the August 7th event but, is very interested in featuring Lora for one of his programs.
  • Please help us spread the word to family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors. On August 7th Let's fill the Rustic Theatre and get everyone over to the Krone Museum! Attaching a flier.
